BACKGROUND : Nationalities Religion Nationalities Education Ratio Experience After the oil discoveries in the UAE and the resultant economic boom, the community has changed from tribal to a mixed urbanized community with a composition of multinational groups forming a community structure of more than 35 nationalities with varied cultures. The population of our student body is a reflection of the existing community of the UAE. Despite of the different cultures, the students share a healthy atmosphere and the respect to other believes and traditions. With respect to others, the general background of the community, we believe that most of the children come from educated families with adequate family norms and social controls. Learning is a journey of exploration and discovery, while teaching is a journey of mission and struggle to enliven the thrill to have the learner acquire knowledge. Abu Dhabi International School is proud of the teaching team which, as individuals are professionals and devotional. The nationalities of the teaching team are mainly Canadians and Lebanese.
